The Challenge
Prenup Lawyers needed a site that could do something most law firm websites get wrong: build genuine trust around a topic clients often approach with hesitation. Prenuptial agreements sit at an unusual intersection — legal precision matters, but so does tone. A site that felt too clinical would undercut the firm’s actual approach; a site that felt too transactional would undercut the sensitivity the topic deserves.
The Approach
Rather than pull from a legal-industry template, the site was built around the firm’s real positioning: clear, fair agreements for couples entering marriage with confidence. The homepage leads with a real Philadelphia skyline rather than stock legal photography, paired with a headline built around reassurance — “Protect What Matters. Start Your Marriage Right.” — instead of the more combative tone common in litigation-focused firm sites.
What Was Built
- A fully custom WordPress theme, hand-coded with no page builders — every layout decision made deliberately, not assembled from pre-built blocks
- WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance built in from the first wireframe
- A Web3Forms-powered intake system for consultation requests, giving the firm a reliable, spam-protected way to receive inquiries without added technical overhead
- A stats band (agreements drafted, years of experience, confidentiality, free consultation) that establishes credibility immediately, without over-explaining it
